…is a multi-award winning Hungarian born music composer active in various genre fields. With an academic background from Budapest & Vienna he has been working, for 15+ years, full time as a composer specialized in genre-blending, hybrid styles. His applied music production company is operating inside the renowned building of Pannonia Studios, Budapest. He is a member of the European Film Academy. He has recently created music for the HBO docu-drama “ULTRA”, for AMC Networks’ channel „JIMJAM”, for the TV series „VIRTUÓZOK”, and for the animated movies “The Grickles” (KUFLIK) I & II. He is the in-house composer and sound designer of Kedd Animation Studio lead by Oscar-nominated Géza M. Tóth. Besides creating soundtracks to movies, commercials and theatre shows he composes concert pieces for symphonic orchestras, jazz/pop and electronic bands.
…he has scored the music of several feature films, animation shorts, commercials and theatre shows. He has created the sound logos of the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall (Palace of Arts) in Budapest, as well as sets of jingles for international radio and TV channels. He is the in-house composer and sound designer of Kedd Animation Studio lead by Oscar-nominated Géza M. Tóth. In recent years Alpár’s music has been commissioned by Hungarian and international partners such as HBO Europe, Vodafone, Philips, General Electric, ORIBEL Singapore, ORF Radio Austria, MOME University. The multi-award winning film Paper World featuring Alpár’s music has received nearly 10 million views on National Geographic’s website.

…he regularly plays Hungarian and international concert venues with his Fugato Orchestra, a 13-piece fusion chamber ensemble which he founded and composes music for.
…he conducts music workshops, film scoring courses and teaches private lessons. He has developed inspiring and interactive training programs for diverse target groups including filmmakers, composers, corporate teams, and children. His workshop program for emerging directors, focusing on topics like “musical character development” is regularly invited to universities, film festivals and events, and is designed to help filmmakers create musical and sonic concepts in a more conscious way, to better help storytelling with audio.
As a musical program advisor he helps the organisation of the Hungarian TED Conferences, the TEDx Danubia.
